The Channel system is a gravity-based technology. Each ‘Channel’ will hold several packs and these are ejected to the delivery point when requested.

To fill the machine, the barcode of the pack is scanned, a set of LED’s light up on the rear of the system to indicate where to place the pack(s). As the prescription is entered into the pharmacy software system, the packs are ejected onto a conveyor (or air-tube system) and delivered to the terminal they were requested from.
